About the Role
Corus Entertainment Vancouver is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales team. This full-time position will report to the Director, Local Sales, BC. This is a Group 2 position under the current collective agreement and will be based in Burnaby, BC. You will be working with the Integrated Account Managers and clients to administer booked business and maintain revenue from initial buy to on-air presentation. As a Sales Coordinator, the following is an outline of some but not all the primary functions and responsibilities for this position:
- This position will assist the Integrated Account Managers in maintenance of accounts including building sales proposals, maintaining client contracts/campaigns and liaising with clients.
- Assist the Integrated Account Managers with all client campaigns deliverables.
- Application of commercial copy to client campaigns with accuracy.
- Maintain existing campaigns by replacing pre-empted shows and renegotiating to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Handle online proposals, bookings and tracking.
- Generate post-analysis reports.
- Informing Clients of changes made to contracts and ensuring they understand the reasons behind these changes and are comfortable with the alignment to their advertising goals.
- Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, Operations, Revenue Management, Inventory Management, etc.,) to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and correctly;
- Liaise with the Creative Services department to ensure timely commercial delivery.
- Liaise with Think TV to obtain Telecaster numbers for TV creative as required.
- Fulfill all requirements to successfully execute Global BC Contests and Promotions.
- Organizing and filing client information and account coordination.
- Researching all billing queries, adjusting where necessary, and providing documentation.
- Run reports as required.
- General clerical and administrative support to the Integrated Account Managers and Sales Director.
- Forward correct campaigns to new seasonal estimates.
Skills and experience you will bring:
- Experience working with advertising agencies and television/radio station traffic departments;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times;
- Work well under pressure with attention to details;
- Advanced computer skills with MS Office and PowerPoint being a prerequisite;
- Effective time management skills;
- Customer Service oriented;
- Team player with a great attitude;
- A client focused approach and a desire to learn.
