Job Summary

Heritage Optometric is seeking a friendly, fashion-forward, and patient-focused Part-Time Frame Stylist to join our team. This unique position bridges the worlds of eye care and style, helping patients look and feel their best by guiding them through frame selections that suit their prescription needs, lifestyle, and personal style. Located in the heart of Carleton Place, we pride ourselves on being community oriented and dedicated to the highest level of patient care.

Duties

  • Assist patients in selecting frames that fit their face shape, style preferences, and prescription requirements.
  • Offer knowledgeable recommendations based on fashion trends, frame features, and lens options.
  • Work closely with optometrists and optical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience from exam to eyewear.
  • Adjusting and repairing frames
  • Provide excellent customer service in a professional and approachable manner.

Requirements

  • Experience in retail sales or the optical industry is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for fashion, design, and helping people feel confident in their eyewear

Pay

  • Pay rate is competitive and based on your experience. Candidates with previous optical experience, strong retail sales skills, or other relevant and transferable experience (such as fashion retail or customer service) will be taken into consideration.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
