We are seeking a patient, knowledgeable High School Physics Tutor to support students in mastering high-school–level physics concepts. The tutor will help students build strong problem-solving skills, prepare for exams, and improve overall academic performance in physics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customized one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions aligned with the high school physics curriculum.
  • Teach essential topics such as motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, and basic modern physics.
  • Help students with homework, lab reports, exam prep, and conceptual understanding.
  • Break down physics principles and equations into simple, clear explanations.
  • Create practice problems, worksheets, and study guides as needed.
  • Identify student learning gaps and provide focused support.
  • Track student progress and communicate updates to parents or guardians.
  • Encourage scientific reasoning, critical thinking, and confidence in physics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience tutoring or teaching high school students is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of high school physics concepts and problem-solving methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, supportive, and able to adapt lessons to different learning styles.
