Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare job sites by cleaning and leveling surfaces for concrete pouring.
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
  • Use power tools and heavy equipment for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
  • Apply caulking and sealant as needed for waterproofing and finishing.
  • Assist in building forms for concrete structures and ensure they are properly aligned.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating power tools such as saws, drills, and mixers.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Experience with caulking techniques for sealing joints.
  • Knowledge of welding processes is a plus.
  • Skills in carpentry for building forms or frameworks is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation related to construction tasks.
  • Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor over extended periods.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
