Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian (Restricted Veterinarian Welcome as well) to join our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional animal care, demonstrating strong clinical skills, and fostering a positive environment for clients and their pets. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative setting focused on animal health and well-being, with an emphasis on professional growth and client education. MENTORSHIP AVAILABLE

Duties

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other necessary operations
  • Prescribe medications and treatments tailored to individual animals' needs
  • Assist in laboratory testing and analyze results to support accurate diagnoses
  • Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and health management strategies
  • Maintain detailed medical records for all patients in compliance with veterinary standards
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

  • Valid veterinary license to practice in BC CANADA
  • Laboratory experience is preferred to support diagnostic procedures and testing
  • Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
  • Compassionate approach toward animals and their owners
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,204.17-$147,290.18 per year
