Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in customer service, food serving and staff handling. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
  • Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality
  • Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items and improve food offerings
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and provide ongoing training for team members
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain stock
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and best practices in the kitchen
  • Experience with POS systems, preferably Micros POS
  • Background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in supervising staff is essential; hotel or barista experience is a plus
