Wage/Salary Range: $29.00 per hour
Shift Schedule: Project-based schedule running until December 16; shifts as assigned
Hours Per Day: 10 to 12 hours per day

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Swamper to join our Valued Clients team for work in the Fort McMurray region. This is a contract position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Hydrovac Operator with safe and efficient excavation activities.

Handle hoses, tools, and equipment as directed.
-
Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Support equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.

Follow all safety procedures, site protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Complete required documentation when necessary.
Qualifications:
-
Mask fit testing certification.
-
Fall Protection certification.
-
CSO or OSSA BSO with OSSA Regional.
-
Confined Space Entry and Monitor certifications.
-
Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness.
-
Ground Disturbance certification.
-
H2S Alive certification.
-
Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and complete required client orientation.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous labour or industrial site experience.
-
Experience supporting hydrovac operations or similar heavy equipment tasks.
Work Environment:

Work performed outdoors in diverse and changing weather conditions.
-
Requires physical labour, close proximity to heavy equipment, and adherence to strict safety standards.

Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
