Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician

The ideal candidate will possess a background in engineering principles and practices and have the ability to work independently..

This role requires proficiency in various code standards and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple disciplines. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting project development and execution while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Duties

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Fusion, or Archicad.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design drawings, schematics, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Perform construction inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain organized records of project progress and results while demonstrating strong time management skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to engineering projects.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge along with experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Background in Structural, electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $17.80-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
