Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and other surfaces throughout the facility.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or facility maintenance tasks.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
