Are you looking to work with children with higher needs? Receive support from ABA with Kids to prepare you in providing in-home ABA/ IBI services. You will gain knowledge on the theory of ABA and be able to practice your honed skills before working with families as a behaviour therapist.

ABA with Kids provides one-on-one services to children between 3-10 years of age, primarily diagnosed with autism. If you have a passion working with children with special/ higher needs, let's work together to make a change in their day to day life. Our goal is to have an impact on the child's development. At ABA with Kids we believe it is a cooperative effort between the child, the family, and the therapists.

Therapists will be observed to ensure the implementation of programs and behaviour plans is showing procedural integrity. The therapist will be expected to be available one hour a month to attend a client meeting. The therapist will be responsible for bringing toys or conducting developmentally-age appropriate activities.

Sessions range between 2-3 hours.

Qualities in an individual:

-Fun and energetic

-Ready to always grow and learn

-Great interpersonal skills

-Creative in solving problems

-Able to attend the client's monthly meeting

-Worked/ Volunteered with children before

-High school diploma

Preferred:

-G2 license and car or means of transportation to travel between clients

-CPI or similar training

-CRP and First Aid

Requirements:

-A clear vulnerable sector check completed and provided

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
