Occupational Health Intake Worker

Job Summary
The Intake Worker plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by efficiently managing the initial contact and intake process for clients. This position involves gathering essential information, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and capable of handling multiple tasks with professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Collect and verify client information accurately through phone calls, emails, or in-person interactions
- Schedule appointments and follow-up meetings based on client needs and availability
- Maintain organized records of client interactions and documentation in the database
- Assist with answering general inquiries and directing calls to appropriate departments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless intake processes and client satisfaction
- Follow confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive client information
- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations
- Provide medical intake for workers and perform basic testing (training provided)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate demeanor with a customer-focused approach
- Experience with data entry or administrative support preferred but not required
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office or similar software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards
- Prior experience in medical environments and training for basic skills including, but not limited to, taking vitals and past medical histories
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $31,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
