SCOPE:

Director, Client Engagement is a key position responsible for identifying new business opportunities and utilizing appropriate marketing and sales methodologies to develop profitable business in security services. The Director, Client Engagement is responsible for ensuring that the corporation's goals, growth strategies and objectives carried out in a manner consistent with Synergy Protection Group Inc.'s management style of employee/member‐focused care. Key tasks and responsibilities include (but are not necessarily limited to) the following:

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospects continuously for new clients through a variety of techniques such as cold calling

  • Maintains current list of all prospects in electronic database

  • Researching sales and marketing techniques to focus sales efforts

  • Participate in trade shows and assists with other promotional efforts.

  • Plans prospect visits along with the Vice President, Client Engagement

  • Prepare sales presentations to prospective clients

  • Follow up with the new clients on a regular basis to assess level of satisfaction and to develop a list of strong referrals

  • Assist with preparing and submitting proposals and responses to RFPs by prospective clients after obtaining pricing and specifications approval from senior leadership as appropriate

  • Enhances and maintains business development skills through participating in a variety of training programs as assigned

  • Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.

  • Assist the Director of Client Engagement with preparing and presenting proposals to clients outlining the pricing structure.

  • Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance and recruiting/HR to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Client Engagement.

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Skill in persuasive oral and written communications, including effective executive-level presentation skills

  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of sales and business development

  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop recommendations and solutions

  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently

  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

  • Ability to foster a Team atmosphere and work well as a member of a team.

  • Ability to organize work and multi‐task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Extensive knowledge of standard business practices within the Security Industry.

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.

  • Ability to be an effective team member

  • Courteous telephone manner.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Ability to provide high quality customer service.

  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

  • Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track performance.
