Duties

  • Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools to solve complex business problems.
  • Lead model training processes, ensuring high accuracy and robustness through iterative testing and validation.
  • Implement unsupervised learning techniques for pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and data mining across diverse datasets.
  • Deploy models into production environments utilizing cloud platforms like AWS and containerization tools for scalable deployment.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design efficient ETL pipelines that facilitate seamless data ingestion from various sources including Hadoop, SQL databases, and linked data repositories.
  • Conduct database design and management to support large-scale data analysis while ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Utilize SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Bash scripting for data analysis, automation, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract insights from unstructured text data for applications such as chatbots or sentiment analysis.
  • Engage in big data analytics using tools like Hadoop, Spark, Talend, and Looker to uncover actionable insights.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams by translating business needs into technical specifications for model development and deployment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in quantum engineering, AI advancements, and machine learning frameworks to continuously enhance our capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing machine learning models with frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with a solid understanding of software development best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for model training and deployment at scale.
  • Expertise in big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Talend, and ETL processes for large-scale data processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database design principles to manage structured data efficiently.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning techniques, and AI methodologies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Looker for visualization and reporting purposes.
  • Experience working with machine learning frameworks such as SAS or R is a plus.
  • Ability to perform data mining tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
