Job Summary:The Intermediate General Architectural Technologist will work collaboratively with our team of architects and designers to produce high-quality design and technical documents for a variety of building types. They will be responsible for producing drawings, specifications, and other technical documents, as well as coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients as required.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with architects and designers to develop design concepts and technical solutions for a variety of building typesPrepare accurate and detailed drawings, specifications, and other technical documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software as requiredCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure that technical documents meet project requirements and are completed on scheduleReview drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes and standardsAssist with project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality controlParticipate in project meetings and site visits as requiredKeep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our design and technical processesMentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as requiredQualifications:Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in an architectural firm or a related industryProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other software as requiredStrong technical skills, including knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and materialsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProfessionalism, with a strong work ethic and commitment to qualityA portfolio of work that demonstrates technical proficiency and design ability is an asset Internal Job Code: AT-GT-03
