This position is for a Messaging, MDM, Active Directory, Azure Tower Engineer with 7-10 years' experience working with Messaging, MDM, Active Directory, Azure to manage/support ~3,500 accounts/clients. The candidate will work as part of the AXIS BTS team under the direction of the AD & Messaging Tower Lead. This position will work with AXIS internal and external business partners, IT organization, and multiple outsourcing providers to effectively deliver infrastructure services and operational assurances in the Active Directory functional area through the planning and management of:
- Build and maintain productive relationships within AXIS, the Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) supplier, and other suppliers to enable the objectives of their towers to be fully realized.
- Support the achievement of service levels and metrics-based performance in collaboration with the Outsourcing Suppliers
- Directing, tracking, and oversight of day-to-day operations in their towers
- Promptly respond and resolve inquiries and escalations. Ensure systemic issues are identified and remedial actions are taken to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborates with the Infrastructure Architecture, Operations, Project Management, and Application teams to properly forecast future demand and drive the appropriate actions to fulfill these needs.
- Assists in the development of and ensures the Supplier is adhering to agreed refresh strategies
- Drive a service-oriented culture across all activities
- Provide support and oversight of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities for their tower
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of Knowledge Artifacts for their tower, such as documentation, technical standards, operational procedures, workarounds, and technical drawings
- Ensures adherence to enterprise IT policies and procedures
- Oversight of escalations related to incident management and service requests
- Problem management and root cause analysis
- Planning & execution of change management activities
- Adherence to AXIS policies, procedures, and technical standards
- Provide support for IT and Business project activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Works under supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Work outside of regular hours may be required

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience
- MCSE or MCITP a plus
- 7-10 years' experience in Microsoft Messaging, MDM, Active Directory and Azure
- Ideally the candidate should possess:
- A working knowledge of ITIL
- 1 or more relevant certifications
- 10 years or more experience working in an enterprise environment
Relevant technology experience includes:
- Microsoft 365, InTune, Active Directory, Azure
- Managing cloud workloads on Microsoft's data platforms including Azure, Microsoft 365, InTune
- Designing, delivering, and supporting large scale and highly available data platforms including clustering, replication, log shipping, and mirroring
- Performance monitoring, tuning, reporting, and troubleshooting techniques
