Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the aesthetic appeal and visual storytelling of our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging displays, planograms, and layouts that align with branding strategies and marketing objectives. This role requires a strong sense of visual design, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams to drive customer engagement and sales growth. A background in interior design, retail sales, or marketing is highly desirable, along with proficiency in various design software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling visual displays and layouts that attract customers and promote products effectively.
  • Create detailed planograms and merchandising plans using tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Implement branding guidelines consistently across all visual presentations to reinforce brand identity.
  • Coordinate with inventory management and control teams to ensure display accuracy and stock availability.
  • Design window displays, fixtures, signage, and in-store layouts that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Utilize marketing insights to optimize product placement for maximum sales impact.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines through effective time management.
  • Maintain knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, and sales techniques to support merchandising efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure cohesive visual presentation standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in visual merchandising, interior design, or related fields such as retail sales or marketing.
  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, AutoCAD, and familiarity with is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of layout design, planograms, branding principles, and visual design concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Experience in inventory management, inventory control, cashiering, customer service, retail math, and cash handling is beneficial but not mandatory. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
