Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a dental office setting and will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Welcome and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.

· Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and recalls.

· Process patient check-ins, check-outs, and payments.

· Handle insurance submissions, pre-determinations, and reconciliation.

· Answer phone calls and respond promptly to patient inquiries.

· Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the dental software system.

· Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and coordination of care.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental receptionist or administrative assistant in a dental practice.

· Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, AbelDent, or similar).

· Strong understanding of dental insurance billing and claim processes.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Professional, dependable, and team-oriented demeanor.

Schedule:

Full-time position, Evenings and Saturdays are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
