Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in various engineering software and tools. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. The Project Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.

Duties

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
  • Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for system design and automation tasks.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses using MATLAB to validate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
  • Implement CNC machining processes to produce prototypes and final products.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain project documentation, including specifications, reports, and design changes.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo) for design purposes.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and LabVIEW for system integration.
  • Experience with drafting techniques and creating schematics for engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of CNC operations and machining processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
