Required Skills:

  • Over 10 years of experience as a designer, lead design system architect, and front-end developer
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written)
  • Proven expertise in creating robust, scalable design systems supporting development and design teams
  • Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Chromatic, and Storybook
  • Hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, and supporting development workflows
  • Skills in developing and testing components for accessibility and performance
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes, version control, and modern development frameworks (Git, Azure Pipelines, Nexus)
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and communicate complex ideas effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with AI-powered development tools like Github Copilot and Microsoft Copilot
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and preprocessors such as SASS
  • Prior experience managing large-scale technological projects and innovation labs
  • Knowledge of data analytics platforms like Google Analytics 4

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Over 10 years of relevant professional experience, especially in roles involving design systems, innovation labs, and front-end development

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $65.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
