Position overview

Bitcoin Well is seeking a creative and versatile Media Specialist & Video Editor to spearhead our mission of becoming a leader in Bitcoin education. This role combines technical video editing expertise with strategic content development, serving as the driving force behind educational content that serves Bitcoiners at every stage of their journey—from curious newcomers to seasoned holders seeking deeper understanding.

As our Media Specialist, you'll be the architect of our content strategy, crafting compelling visual stories and written materials that demystify Bitcoin's technical foundations, economic principles, and practical applications. You'll transform complex concepts into accessible, engaging content that empowers our community to truly understand what they're investing in and why it matters. From beginner-friendly explainers to advanced deep-dives, your work will establish Bitcoin Well as the trusted educational resource in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

You'll wear multiple hats—editing engaging video content and leveraging AI tools to scale production, writing platform-specific copy that educates and inspires, and managing our entire content pipeline from concept to distribution across social channels, newsletters, and educational series. This role requires someone who can translate Bitcoin's revolutionary potential into stories that stick, whether through a viral short-form video, a comprehensive tutorial series, or a thoughtfully crafted newsletter that becomes essential weekly reading.

Key responsibilities

Editing & AI Generation

  • Produce and edit high-quality video content across formats (long-form, short-form, tutorials, interviews, and educational series)
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance production efficiency, streamline workflows, and scale content output
  • Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across all video assets
  • Optimize content for different platforms and audience preferences (YouTube, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)

Educational & Brand Awareness Content Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that position Bitcoin Well as a leader in Bitcoin education
  • Create educational content roadmaps that serve Bitcoiners at all knowledge levels—from beginners to advanced users
  • Research and translate complex Bitcoin topics into accessible, engaging narratives
  • Identify trending topics, community questions, and knowledge gaps to address through content
  • Analyze content performance metrics and iterate strategies based on data insights

Social Channel Writing & Posting

  • Write platform-specific copy that educates, engages, and grows our community across all social channels
  • Manage daily posting schedules and maintain consistent brand voice across platforms
  • Engage with community members, respond to comments, and foster meaningful conversations
  • Monitor social trends and adapt content strategies to maximize reach and engagement

Feature Releases & Content Packages

  • Coordinate end-to-end content production timelines from ideation to publication
  • Develop and manage content packages for product launches and educational initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align content with business objectives and marketing goals
  • Maintain organized content libraries and asset management systems

Copywriting for Drip Campaigns & Newsletters

  • Write compelling newsletter content that educates subscribers and drives engagement
  • Develop drip campaign copy for onboarding sequences and educational email series
  • Craft clear, persuasive calls-to-action that guide users through their Bitcoin journey
  • Maintain a consistent editorial voice that reflects Bitcoin Well's educational mission
