Job Summary

The Drywall Installer plays a key role in residential renovation and property improvement projects managed by Meadow Green Property Management.

This position combines hands-on drywall installation and finishing with material coordination, driving, and site support duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining professional work standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to plans and specifications.
  • Tape, fill, sand, and prepare drywall surfaces for painting or finishing.
  • Assist with general renovation tasks such as framing, painting, patching, and other finishing work.
  • Drive company vehicle to transport tools, equipment, and materials between job sites.
  • Safely lift, carry, and position drywall panels and other materials with assistance from team members.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and clean work environments at all times.
  • Inspect sites for progress, safety, and quality; communicate updates to the project manager or owner.
  • Collaborate closely with trades and property management staff to meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and Saskatchewan construction regulations.
  • Perform additional related duties consistent with the scope of residential construction and renovation.

Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary school required; additional trade or apprenticeship training in drywall, finishing, or renovation is an asset.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in residential construction, drywall installation, or related finishing work.
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs safely.
  • Strong understanding of hand and power tools used in drywall and finishing trades.
  • Reliable, organized, and committed to long-term employment and consistent performance.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

  • A criminal background check may be required prior to employment.
  • A drug and alcohol test may be required where job site policy mandates it.
  • Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to completing assigned projects on time.

Work Conditions

  • Work performed at residential and light-commercial job sites throughout Saskatoon and surrounding areas.
  • Company vehicle and tools provided for site use and material transport.
  • 40 hours per week; overtime may be required during project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.75-$26.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
