Nail Technician Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and body waxing, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell services will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Provide body waxing services as needed.
  • Maintain clean working/store area and sanitation all tools and workstation in accordance with health regulations.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide clients with current options.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized after each use in compliance with health regulations.
  • Deliver professional customer service, ensuring clients feel valued.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in nail care, body waxing, and customer service within a salon environment (+6months experience).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
