Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in hair care, while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a positive salon experience.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired styles and provide professional recommendations.
  • Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and promote retail sales.
  • Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and managing payments.
  • Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with informed advice.

Requirements

  • Hairstyling license.
  • 2 years experience as a Hair Stylist.
  • Strong skills in hair styling techniques and knowledge of various hair care products.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Experience with retail sales is preferred; ability to upsell products is a plus.
  • A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to ongoing professional development.
