We are seeking dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients in Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting.

What you will do

  • Providing personalized support to clients in accordance with their individual support plans
  • Variety of week day shifts - day, afternoons, sleepovers and active nights 
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support the team in facilitating community participation and social activities
  • Supporting clients in developing life skills and promoting independence
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation

What you will bring

  • Hold minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Above
  • A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a 'C' class driver's license, along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
  • A Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate ( willingness to Obtain if not held or expired)
  • Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
  • Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
  • Ability to Complete Pre-Employment Medical/Functional Assessment (Paid by Afford)
