Job Overview

Join our team as a Hot Shot Driver, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our worksite locations. This position involves operating hot shot trucks and gooseneck trailers, managing diverse delivery routes, and upholding our company's commitment to exceptional service, efficiency, and reliability.

When deliveries are not required, you will assist in yard and shop duties, supporting general operations as needed.

Job Components:

  • Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed
  • Driving Hot Shot Truck with 40' Gooseneck Trailer
  • Experience Hauling Pipe, Structural Steel Required
  • Understanding of log books / ELD experience
  • Able to perform the pre trip and post trip inspections which include but not limited to complete walk arounds, check fluids, tires (basic maintenance)
  • Know how to safely load and unload, strap and secure loads.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a clean driving record, 5 year commercial driver's abstract required
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fork lift.
  • Must have current, valid driver's license.
  • Able to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to read, write, and do simple math.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
