Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP

is a medium-sized law firm in Regina, SK. We offer a wide variety of services to individual and institutional clients throughout Saskatchewan, but particularly in the Regina area where we are based.  

We are growing and need 2 lawyers to be part of our labour and employment law practices.

In those practices areas, we primarily represent workers and unions, with a particular focus on labour arbitration, tribunal litigation and some judicial review and other Court work. The day-to-day work in these areas can be expected to include dealing with clients, drafting, legal research and writing, as well as hearing and advocacy work.

Gerrand Rath Johnson offers a challenging, dynamic, and team-oriented work environment. An ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of related experience, not necessarily focused on labour law but including the conduct of trials, arbitrations and/or tribunal hearings, or other administrative law experience. An applicant with a strong interest in oral advocacy and hearing work is preferred. Strong writing skills are also an asset. The position may offer some opportunity to work in areas outside of the labour/employment law sphere.

GRJ offers a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, and anticipates a starting salary to be negotiated, commensurate with experience. GRJ also offers a generous bonus system.
