Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Handle cash transactions and manage the POS system efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns or feedback promptly.
  • Assist in cooking and food preparation when necessary to support the team during busy periods.

Skills

  • Proficiency in POS systems for efficient order processing.
  • Strong interviewing skills to recruit the best talent for the kitchen team.
  • Extensive experience in restaurant management with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Background in hospitality to foster a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patrons.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Bartending experience is a plus to assist during events or busy service times.
