Au sein du département Engagement client et sécurité financière, l'analyste des contrôles KYC assistera les équipes Due Diligence Global Quality Monitoring (GQM) et Monitoring and Controls (MAC) dans leurs tâches quotidiennes. L'objectif de ces équipes est de surveiller, contrôler et gérer les principaux processus opérationnels de la diligence raisonnable afin d'assurer le bon fonctionnement de l'équipe et la visibilité pour la haute direction. Cela comprend les contrôles de qualité, les contrôles et les rapports sur les nouveaux clients, la recertification et les entités non juridiques dans toutes les lignes d'affaires de CIB. Les équipes GQM et MAC sont basées à Montréal et relèvent du responsable KYC Canada.
Les tâches GQM auxquelles l'analyste des contrôles KYC participera peuvent être aussi importantes que d'empêcher un client d'effectuer d'autres transactions, car celles-ci ne sont plus autorisées pour des raisons commerciales ou de conformité. Dans une moindre mesure, leur contribution peut consister à modifier une entrée de données dans le dossier KYC ou à corriger des incohérences dans les données. Le plus souvent, le niveau d'autonomie est élevé, mais les conseils du responsable peuvent être nécessaires pour les demandes inhabituelles. L'analyste des contrôles KYC commencera à assister l'équipe MAC dès qu'il/elle se sera familiarisé(e) avec les tâches GQM. Les tâches de l'équipe MAC auxquelles l'analyste des contrôles KYC apportera son aide sont énumérées ci-dessous :
- Surveiller le processus de diligence raisonnable des clients, y compris la supervision pour le Canada, les États-Unis, le Mexique, le Brésil, la Colombie et l'Argentine, en soutenant les exigences du programme AML KYC Operations liées au contrôle des risques pour l'entreprise
- Mettre en œuvre de nouveaux contrôles internes et travailler avec les systèmes et processus AML afin d'atténuer les risques
- Maintenir le cadre de contrôle de l'engagement des clients et de la sécurité financière sur l'ensemble de la plateforme CIB des Amériques, conformément aux réglementations locales et celles établies par l'entreprise
- Suivre les principaux indicateurs de la politique de diligence raisonnable afin de confirmer l'efficacité des processus et contrôles mis en place.
- Répondre aux demandes d'audit en rassemblant les documents et autres informations nécessaires dans des délais serrés.
- Vérifier que les exigences réglementaires sont correctement prises en compte (FINCEN CDD, 17A-5, profil de transaction).
- Examiner les rapports de contrôle afin de détecter les anomalies, informer l'équipe de diligence raisonnable d'AMER afin qu'elle y remédie et communiquer les résultats à la direction.
Les atouts et compétences qui vous aideront à réussir:
- Baccalauréat en finance, économie ou autre domaine d'études connexe.
- 1 à 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine du KYC/contrôle qualité, de la diligence raisonnable, de l'intégration des clients, de la conformité ou dans un domaine similaire.
- Compréhension des exigences en matière de documentation AML/KYC, des politiques bancaires et des exigences réglementaires.
- Connaissance des exigences applicables au KYC, notamment les réglementations USA PATRIOT ACT, OFAC et FinCEN.
- Esprit de contrôle, souci du détail et volonté de s'approprier les objectifs et d'obtenir des résultats
- Maîtrise de MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- La maîtrise de VBA et PowerBI est un atout considérable.
· Étant donné que la grande majorité de nos clients, tant internes qu'externes, sont basés à l'extérieur du Québec et du Canada, des exigences linguistiques spécifiques peuvent s'appliquer.
La connaissance de l'anglais est requise
. La connaissance du français et de l'espagnol est un atout.
KYC Controls Analyst
Within Client Engagement and Financial Security, the KYC Controls Analyst will assist with the daily tasks of the Due Diligence Global Quality Monitoring (GQM) team, and Monitoring and Controls (MAC) Team. The objective of these teams is to monitor, control, and manage Due Diligence's key operational processes to ensure proper functioning of the team and visibility for senior management. This includes Quality Control checks, controls, and reporting on New Clients, Recertification, and Non-legal Entities across CIB Business Lines. The GQM and MAC teams are based in Montreal and report to the head of the KYC Canada.

The GQM tasks that the KYC Controls Analyst will assist with can be as important as restricting a client from any further transactions as they are no longer permitted to for business or compliance reasons. To a lesser extent, their contribution could be to amend a data entry within the KYC record or to remediate data inconsistencies. Most frequently, there is a high level of autonomy however manager's guidance might be required for unusual requests. The day-to-day tasks are listed below.
- Performing the protocols related to the settlement instruction (Termination / Restriction on the accounts).
- Perform modifications (as required) of data pertinent to client accounts

- Relationship Manager (RM) amendments

- Final Risk Score amendments
- Due Diligence Level amendments

- Client Offboardings and KYC Termination

The KYC Controls Analyst will start assisting the MAC team once he/she has become familiar with the GQM Tasks. The MAC team tasks that the KYC Controls Analyst will assist with are listed below:
- Monitor client due diligence process, including oversight for Canada, United States, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, by supporting AML KYC Operations program requirements related to controlling risk to the company
- Operating new internal controls and working with AML systems and processes to mitigate risk
- Maintain Client Engagement and Financial Security control framework throughout the Americas CIB platform in compliance with local and company-established regulations
- Track key Due Diligence policy metrics to confirm the effectiveness of the established processes and controls
- Support audit requests by pulling documentation and other information as required while under tight deadlines
- Validate Regulatory Requirements are captured accurately (FINCEN CDD, 17A-5, Transaction Profile)
- Review control reports for discrepancies, notify the Due Diligence team in AMER for remediation, and provide results to management.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related field of study
- 1 to 3 years of experience in KYC/Quality Control, Due Diligence, Client Onboarding, Compliance or a similar field
- Understanding of relevant AML/KYC documentation requirements, bank policies, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of requirement applicable to KYC, including The USA PATRIOT ACT, OFAC, and FinCEN regulations
- Have a control mindset, detailed orientated, and a desire to take ownership of objectives and drive results
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- VBA and PowerBI a strong plus.
· Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply.
Knowledge of English is required
