You'll shape how fans experience Betway online, ensuring our voice is bold, engaging, and always ahead of the gameWe require a dynamic, innovative and driven candidate, who is a North American sports guru capable of cementing us as a thought leader in the industry. The perfect candidate will also understand the casino product and be able to turn insights into actions and identify key opportunities to amplify Betway's presence.Betway has a roster of global ambassadors and partnerships that you will be working closely with, this includes; Thierry Henry, Ottawa Senators, Williams F1 team, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and many more.What you'll be doingAs part of your role, your responsibilities will include:Strategic leadership across all social media platformImplementing the global social media strategy across sports & casino verticalsAssisting the HOS in expanding Super Group's social ecosystemAligning content and campaigns with broader marketing goals and brand positioningContent & Campaign management – utilise productivity tools and smart planning to deliver relevant, timely and engaging contentBoosting and paid campaign support to achieve business objectives and KPIs.Curating and scheduling high-impact content across all platforms (Meta, Snapchat, X, TikTok, YouTube)Collaborating with design and wider social media teams to produce engaging multimedia assetsLeading real-time and reactive coverage of major sporting events and cultural momentsCommunity Management – Daily 'fan-first', human approach to solving problems and nurturing our audience. Working with the Customer Service team to enable an efficient system to resolve issues fastReporting and tracking KPIs – Collect and analyse performance data to optimise the strategy for maximum performance. Providing actionable recommendations based on insights and expertise to the HOSStakeholder collaboration with global teams including Marketing, Digital, Social Media and SponsorshipBrand Guardian – work closely with the compliance and legal teams to ensure that output is always compliant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) and responsible gaming standardsDeveloping influencer marketing strategies - Liaise with influencers, partnerships and external agenciesMaintaining brand values, tone of voice and consistency across all social media channelsBeing always uphold and protect Betway's brand integrityCurating and leading social activations around key eventsEnsuring consistency between Social Media content strategy and Paid Social strategy for a full-funnel approachAnalytical focus > Conduct post-campaign performance analysis and evaluationProviding regular performance reports to key stakeholders (weekly, monthly, quarterly), including participation in Quarterly Business ReviewsStaying updated on industry trends, innovations and technological advancements.This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. You may be required to complete other reasonable duties in order to achieve business objectives.Essential skills you'll bring to the tableThe necessary skills that we require for this role include:Proven success managing social media for a B2C brand, ideally in sports, entertainment, gaming or bettingDeep understanding of Canadian sports culture and fan behaviourData-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics platforms and reportingStrong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively, alongside a flair for engaging digital audiencesProficiency in social media management tools & platformsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple prioritiesProven record of participating in successful social media content/campaigns for a brandExperience in conceptualising content ideas and briefing creatives to a design teamFlexible to work outside standard working hours when requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectivelyExperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals & KPIsExceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputsAbility to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situationsUnderstanding of influencer marketing and managementExpertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scopeDesirable skills you've got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:5+ years experience in Social Media Management, ideally within the sports marketing or igaming industryFamiliarity with Canadian advertising and gaming regulations (AGCO).Creative flair with a sharp eye for trends & audience insightsPassion for sports and casino gamingExperience executing paid campaignsDegree in marketing or related online qualificationMeta, Snapchat and other Social Media platforms Ads certificationUnderstanding of online marketing technical aspects (e.g. tracking, analytics tools)Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability and good organisational skillsIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trendsPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulationsFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standardsExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategiesBonus points:Bilingual proficiency (English/French)Familiarity with Digital Marketing channels such as SEO with content amplification strategiesExperience leading production teams to create quality content and campaignsShould you not hear from us within 2 weeks, please assume your application has not been successful.
