RAPS is Seeking a Temporary part time caregiver to assist an individual with MS (E21)

Location: Northeast Edmonton (Maple Ridge)

Days/ Hours: Tuesday and Friday 7am-1pm & Temp Nov 10-Dec 24th.

_ Saturdays 7am-6:30 _

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: mechanical and manual transfers, meal preparation and feeding assistance through G-Tube, Personal Care (dressing, toileting, Catheter care, bladder and bowel routine) oral care assistance after all meals, extensive daily ROM exercises and stretching, support on outings (required to driver the employer's vehicle), and light housekeeping, Laundry and light pet care

Note: there is 2 Dog in the home.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: the successful candidate must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, must have the Health Care Aide Certificate (HCA) or a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the health care field, G-Tube experience, medication administration through G-Tube considered an asset. Driver's license and Vehicle required. The ability to work independently and be patient.

Rate of Pay: $20.00/ hour
