About the Role

The Service Dispatch & Scheduling Coordinator is the operational heartbeat of our service department. You keep technicians moving, customers informed, and the schedule running efficiently. Your work directly supports our daily revenue, weekly revenue, customer experience, and technician utilization, all key drivers in Canadoor's growth and reputation.

This is a role for someone who is organized, calm, accurate, and motivated by structure and results.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Scheduling & Dispatch
  • Build technician schedules days in advance with smart routing, skill matching, and revenue alignment.
  • Dispatch technicians across Ontario and to national accounts as needed.
  • Adjust schedules proactively when emergencies or changes occur.

Customer Experience & Communication

  • Book service calls, new installations, and commercial follow-ups.
  • Confirm appointments, provide updates, and communicate clearly with customers.
  • Ensure every customer receives fast, reliable, professional service, the Canadoor way.

Technician Support & Operational Flow

  • Provide technicians with strong on-site job options to increase billable efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the PMI Coordinator to schedule preventative maintenance.
  • Follow contractor portal requirements with accuracy.
  • Record detailed job notes, status updates, and service information in scheduling systems.
  • Coordinate subcontractors across Canada when needed.

  • Helping the service department consistently hit daily and weekly revenue goals

What You Already Know (Requirements)
  • 1–3+ years in dispatching, scheduling, CSR, logistics, or home services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical/computer skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage competing priorities
  • Geographic awareness of Ontario
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly wage: $22 /hr based on experience
  • Daily KPI Bonus: Up to $70/day
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Life Insurance after probation
