CrashLabs is hiring an AI Software Engineer Intern in Toronto for Winter or 8 months, in person). This is a paid role at $30–35 CAD/hour. You'll work directly with the founders on the core product and infrastructure, helping design, build, and ship systems that test and certify AI agents for real-world reliability.About CrashLabsCrashLabs is building the reliability standard for AI agents—the testing and certification layer for the next generation of multimodal agentic systems. We test, review, and certify them for the real world.Our customers include teams building customer support agents, healthcare assistants, and automation copilots. We're a small, technical team based in Toronto, with founders who have built large-scale infrastructure at Google and Shopify and led data evaluation research at Cohere and the Vector Institute. We're backed by DCG, Comma Capital, and a network of angels who were early in Wealthsimple, Layer 6, and Cohere.About the RoleAs an AI & Software Engineer Intern, you'll have direct ownership over core systems that make agent testing possible—from the simulation engine and evaluation pipelines to the dashboards that surface insights. You'll work across the stack, contribute to real-time analytics and monitoring systems, and help shape new product features and experiments. This is a hands-on role where you'll move fast, learn constantly, and see your impact from day one.Who You AreYou're deeply curious about AI agents, LLMs, and the emerging agentic ecosystem.
