Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mandarin Speaking Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving and a passion for providing high-quality support to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

  • Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management and care planning for clients.

Skills

  • Experience in nursing homes or senior care settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities and dementia care is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
  • Previous experience in home care or assisted living environments is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a safe environment for clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.10-$29.69 per hour
