Seasonal Dishwashers

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is vital in supporting food service activities and maintaining a hygienic environment within our restaurant or hospitality setting.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and prep work.
• Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly during busy service times.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to uphold sanitation standards.
• Adhere to all health department regulations and company policies regarding cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
