Job Description

Our client, a Toronto-based engineering firm, delivers full-service solutions in mining, minerals processing, materials handling, infrastructure, and water treatment. With a team of 50+ and over 250 global projects under their belt, they specialize in modular plant design, feasibility studies, and turnkey EPCM services. Their work is hands-on, collaborative, and built for tight timelines and technical complexity.

They're now looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team and take on real-world mining and metals challenges.

What You'll Do:
  • Design systems like conveyors, hoppers, feeders, silos, and wash plants
  • Contribute to early-stage studies (scoping, trade-offs, feasibility)
  • Assist with proposals and client presentations
  • Support change management and keep projects on track
  • Develop cost estimates and monitor budgets
  • Review proposals and recommend equipment
  • Join detailed engineering, HAZOPs, and design reviews
  • Coordinate with engineers, clients, and construction teams
  • Oversee construction quality and installations
  • Run risk assessments and solve problems
  • Prepare quotes with full cost breakdowns
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and P.Eng. designation
  • Experience in mining, minerals, or metallurgical EPCM projects
  • Strong system design and execution skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards
  • Solid problem-solving and communication skills
