We are seeking experienced Software Developers with deep expertise in capital markets to join our team. This role is focused on designing and implementing configurable systems to process order lifecycle events for trade surveillance across asset classes including Fixed Income, Rates, FX, Commodities, and Equities. You will contribute to compliance transformation initiatives, regulatory reporting (CAT, TRACE, EBS, MiFid, SFTR), and the enhancement of Trading Hub platforms. Leveraging advanced technical skills in Java, big data, and cloud technologies, you will play a key role in building robust data pipelines, integrating surveillance platforms, and ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.
What will your typical day look like?- Lead platform enhancements and integrations for Trading Hub across multiple asset classes, including the integration of venue data and surveillance platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, data pipelines, and workflow components using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and preferred workflow platforms.
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines with tools such as Informatica, Talend, Databricks, or SSIS to support analytics and regulatory reporting.
- Draft, execute, and review test scenarios and outcomes for new modules and integrations, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee end-to-end data integration, impact assessment, and data lineage validation across reporting and surveillance modules.
- Define and implement transaction reporting controls and surveillance alert logic to meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess solution change impacts and data standardization needs for platform integration.
- Leverage cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and modern DevOps tools to enable reliable deployment and data processing.

Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are someone who has:
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in compliance transformation implementation, including trade surveillance, trade venue lifecycle, and conflict management.
- Deep domain expertise in capital markets and regulatory reporting requirements (CAT, TRACE, EBS, MiFid, SFTR).
- Proven experience leading platform enhancements for Trading Hub and integrating surveillance platforms.
- Strong background in application and solution architecture for trading and surveillance systems.
- Advanced technical proficiency in Java, big data technologies, Dremio, SQL, HDFS, and data flows.
- Experience designing and building robust ETL pipelines and scalable applications using Informatica, Talend, Databricks, SSIS, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, data processing, and analytics.
- Experience with MQ, Kafka, REST APIs, and distributed file systems (HDFS).
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Dremio, Data Mesh, and Snowflake for data virtualization and analytics.
- In-depth understanding of Trading Hub platforms and the ability to design surveillance solutions leveraging complex mathematical models.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive project planning, scenario creation, and results review.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $180,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
