Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain HVAC systems to ensure proper climate control within the facility.
  • Operate and maintain boilers in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from production staff.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify patterns and potential areas for improvement.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, welding techniques, and boiler operations.
  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
  • Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing problems efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members.
