Job Duties

The Skilled Landscape Foreman will be responsible for leading and performing a variety of landscaping and construction tasks on residential and commercial projects, including but not limited to:

Main duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping and construction crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Interpret and implement landscape designs, blueprints, and project specifications to guide installation and construction work.
• Perform and assist in landscape construction tasks, including grading, pool installation, concrete and stone work, and carpentry (decks, pergolas, retaining walls, fences).
• Operate and maintain landscaping and construction equipment, ensuring proper use and upkeep.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Inspect job sites regularly to ensure adherence to safety regulations, cleanliness, and project specifications.
• Train and mentor crew members in job duties, safety procedures, and proper work techniques.

Employment requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school required.

Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or carpentry.

Language: English required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift heavy materials and operate equipment safely.
