Key Responsibilities
- Record accounts payable functions, including coding, posting and reconciling vendor accounts.
- Prepare inventory tracking working sheets for F&B outlets.
- Process and reconcile prepaid and accrual expense monthly journal entries.
- Assist in month-end-closing
- Provide accounting and administrative support to the financial team with daily tasks as needed.
- Assist in administering the filing and organizing of month-end journal entries.
- Other duties as required
What You Bring
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in accounting preferred.
- One year of accounting experience in similar role
- General knowledge of accounting and financial theories, practices, tax, legislation and resources.
- Knowledge of accounting software, experience with Great Plains is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), data-based software, email and web browsers.
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to define and solve problems.
- Skilled at data collection and analytics.
- Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple priorities and demands.
