Job Summary

We are seeking a hard working, dedicated and skilled person with a valid driver's license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from residential houses as well as small commercial properties during winter weather conditions, as well as spring cleanups, weekly lawn mowing, and fall cleanups. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various small equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Operate single stage snow blowers, backpack blowers, shovels, scrapers, walk-behind sweepers, aerators, power-rakes, power edgers, trimmers, and lawn mowers.
  • Drive from property to property
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding equipment status and any issues encountered.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
  • Taking before and after photos of each job.

Skills

  • Proficient in driving in severe weather conditions, possibly with a small trailer.
  • Proficient in operating small machines.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Hard working and focussed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
