Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (On site)
Pay: CA$50,000.00-CA$58,000.00 per year

For over 40 years, FB Canada Express has been a leader in cross-border and international parcel clearance. As our business continues to grow, our accounting team is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Senior Accountant to support increased operational demands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within a well-established organization.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Perform budgeting, customer billing, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports using Sage 50.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze accounts and provide financial insights to support management decisions.
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with preparation and reconciliation of sales tax returns.
- Support annual year-end processes and assist external auditors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate in Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc..)
- Minimum 3 years of previous accounting experience.
- Experience with Sage 50, Simply Accounting or Quickbooks
- Strong communicative, analytical & administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English (Intermediate French)
- Willing to learn.
- Sense of initiative
