Job Overview:

IIQAF Group is hiring a skilled and licensed Electrician (Hospitality) to support electrical installation, maintenance, and repair operations across hospitality properties, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial and hospitality electrical systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with Canadian electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform electrical work in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and hospitality facilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, wiring issues, and power failures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
  • Coordinate with facility management and maintenance teams
  • Respond to emergency electrical issues as required
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and hospitality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or Commercial Electrician
  • Experience working in the hospitality or commercial sector
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and controls
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with Canadian electrical safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Red Seal Electrician certification or provincial electrician license
  • Experience in hotel or resort maintenance
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and building automation
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules
