Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring that our food preparation and service operations run smoothly. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Help with serving meals during peak hours, ensuring timely and efficient service to guests.
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
