This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys the advisory and analytical side of HR. What You'll Do:

·      Advise employers on HR compliance and employment law matters, ensuring alignment with Ontario legislation and minimizing organizational risk.

·      Plan, implement, and evaluate HR policies, programs, and employee relations initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and workforce safety.

·      Lead and support recruitment efforts, including interview participation, candidate selection guidance, and exit interview analysis, to help clients build superior workforces.

·      Design and facilitate in-person and virtual onboarding, training, and leadership development programs and sessions that strengthen engagement, productivity, and culture.

·      Support performance management by coaching leaders, facilitating appraisals, and assisting with employee relations matters to promote accountability and high performance.

·      Lead end-to-end workplace investigations for clients, from intake to final report, ensuring objective findings and compliance with applicable legislation.

·      Support clients in developing proactive health and safety strategies, identifying risks, and implementing programs that promote a culture of prevention and accountability.

·      Monitor and interpret employment legislation to ensure legal compliance across all HR activities and client operations.

·      Recommend and implement HR policies and procedures that reflect best practices and uphold legislative standards.

·      Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, follow-up, and trusted advisory support.

·      Provide strategic HR guidance, problem-solving, and workforce planning expertise to help organizations achieve growth and stability.

·      Contribute to HRBG's continued development through collaboration, business development activities, HRBG events, and participation in client proposals and presentations.

·      Foster an employee-oriented culture that values quality, continuous improvement, and professional excellence.

·      Maintain up-to-date HR knowledge by monitoring legislation, attending professional development, and participating in industry networks.

Who You Are:

·      A seasoned HR professional with 10+ years of HR experience in a generalist, management, or business partner role;

·      In possession of your CHRP (required) or CHRL (preferred);

·      Education/experience with employment law an asset; excellent knowledge of employment laws and practices required;

·      Experience performing the HR function within a variety of industries and organizational settings;

·      Experience leading group training sessions is preferred;

·      Experience with full-cycle workplace investigations is required;

·      Professional in attitude and appearance;

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software applications;

·      Superior oral and written communication;

·      Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills;

·      Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality;

·      Excellent organizational skills.

How You'll Work:

·      This role is primarily remote, giving you the flexibility to plan your day, manage your workload, and schedule meetings in a way that works best for you.

·      You'll be available to work up to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (about 5 hours per day), with the occasional evening commitment to attend or help facilitate monthly HRBG events.

·      From time to time, you may need to be on-site with clients as per their request or when you feel it is appropriate.

·      Travel within southwestern Ontario is a normal part of the role, as well as using your own vehicle for client visits.

·      You'll use your own computer and equipment for remote and on-site work, allowing you to stay flexible and connected wherever the day takes you.
