Labourer- MLX

We are devoted to making "Safety… Our Way of Life".Summary: Under the direction of the Project Team Lead, the Labourer is responsible for any manual labour tasks to support the operations on any Fort McKay Group of Companies assigned project or joint venture.  Working with a crew, the Project Labourer is required to work collaboratively with other Labourers and provide support to the Equipment Operators as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment/pre-access testing. Key Focuses:Assist with general maintenance, upkeeping, cleaning, labour tasks and/or duties as needed at the office, yard, or on a project worksite.Assist and perform delegated tasks including transportation of good and/or materials, parts pick-ups, shuttling employees from worksites, basic maintenance of vehicles, or clean-up.Act as a spotter for vehicle or equipment moves if necessary.Operate a skid steer to support operations as required; may be trained on a skid steer as required.Participate in toolbox meetings, provide suggestions for improvement and safety.Advise Team Lead or Shift Supervisor of any required maintenance or repairs of the equipment.Maintain a safe disposition at all times, ensure the safety of the client site and more importantly, the safety of fellow personnel/drivers.
