As a Residential Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from various locations, including appointments, community activities, and other essential services. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high quality support to individuals with disabilities and ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.

Duties:

  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the workplace to ensure the wellbeing of yourself, passengers, and colleagues

  • Follow all Integra policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of services

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance

  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, organized and well maintained. Conduct routine inspections and report any maintenance needs

  • Safely transport clients to and from programs, appointments and other destinations within Victoria and Greater Victoria area

  • Maintain accurate record of trips, mileage, and any other incidents that occur during transport

  • Assist clients in and out of vehicles, including pushing clients in wheelchairs up ramps when required

  • Enjoy interacting with the public and fostering positive relationships with the individuals you transport

  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families and team members to ensure a positive experience

  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor

  • Knowledge of local roads and routes

  • Supportive work environment focused on making a difference in the community

Qualifications:

  • Experience in professional driver setting

  • Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C certification

  • TB test

  • BC Criminal Record Clearance

  • Clear and current Drivers Abstract

  • Valid Class 4 Drivers Licence (Unrestricted)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
