Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing duties in mechanical maintenance. You will work on a range of equipment and projects, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanic Duties

  • Diagnose and repair engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.

  • Service heavy equipment and mobile units.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson certification as Heavy-Duty Mechanic.

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset).

  • Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection, Confined Space) are an asset.

* Rate of pay will be based on qualifications and experience

Working Conditions

  • Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

  • May require climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

  • On-call and overtime availability may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
