SEASONAL: PART TIME, 24 hours up to a maximum of 39.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage Rate:

$22.58 per hour

Anticipated Normal Work Schedule

Sunday: 6:30pm – 10:30 pm

Monday – Thursday: 6:00pm – 11:30pm

Note: This schedule is subject to change. Incumbent will be required to work nights and weekends.

Job Description Summary

• As a Hospitality associate you will be representing McMaster University Hospitality Services.
• Experience working fast paced food stations.
• Knowledge of food service stations for station coverage.
• Must be able to work in a very busy environment keeping up with customer demands with a focus on.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers effectively, greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner front line customer service.
• Maintain accurate temperature, cleaning and sanitizing logs.
• Perform all duties of any job classification equivalent or lower filling in where needed to assist in our excellent customer service requirement.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of shelves, work areas, floors, walls, counters and all equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work well as a team member and independently.
• May be required to take a knife test.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Education & Experience

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced food production area.
• Must have good communication, reading, writing and English skills.
