Job Overview

Sterling House is an assisted living facility for independent seniors. We provide meal services for Brunch (10:00am - 1:00pm) and Dinner (3:45pm - 6:30pm). Our residents are our top priority. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality food and service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

As a supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing daily dining operations in the dining room during service hours in a professional, courteous and hospitable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Following health and safety standards
  • Creating weekly schedules for servers
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
  • Assist residents with any inquiries or special requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.

Job Type: Full-Time
