About us:

Wolvix FX Inc. is a company that develops algorithmic solutions for Quant Applications using in-house specialized software and hardware accelerator for its internal needs. Company is privately held and self funded with headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

We are currently seeking a junior ASIC/FPGA Simulation Specialist to join our development team to assist us on various mandates that include product development for in-house application and client needs.

The role is based out of Ottawa.

How you will contribute:

· Development and coding of high-level models using Matlab & Python, C++ to evaluate different strategies.

· ASIC/FPGA simulation models using UVM SystemVerilog.

· Implementation of Hardware Accelerators using FPGA/ASICs.

· Software/Hardware Lab Debug

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree or Higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering or relevant STEM field.

· Coding models with Matlab/Python.

· FPGA and ASIC Tool Flow.

· SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL

· Modern Verification Methodology for ASIC and FPGA using UVM.

· Simulation Tools for ASIC/FPGA: Synopsys, Siemens Questa, Aldec, Cadence, Metrics.

· Experience with Derivative Trading is a plus.

· Experience with any trading platform is a big plus.

· Experience with FIX protocol is a big plus.

· Able to adapt to quickly changing conditions.

· Be resourceful is must

Pay Range:

· Annual salary of $85 000 to $ depending on education credentials and experience.

· Yearly bonus based on company trading profits.
